Welcome to the Division of Hospital Medicine
Consisting of over 70 hospitalists in five different sections across multiple facilities, the Stanford Hospital Medicine division is a group of talented physicians, with a variety of academic interests and expertise, caring for inpatients throughout the Stanford Health Care system.
In addition to clinical care, our group has the privilege of educating medical students and residents throughout their journey, from the first day of medical school, to the last day of residency.
Our Hospital Medicine Division looks to grow itself in the areas of research and quality improvement, with over a dozen papers published annually by our clinician-educators.

Hospital Medicine is dedicated to pursuing cutting-edge research to advance medical knowledge and improve the health and care of people. Some of these research include quality & performance improvement, artificial intelligence, medical education, and much more.
